There has always been more to rappers than just hard bars and lyrics, and when they are in their element, they showcase magical moments. From a normal fan’s view, a Kiddblack and Kwesi Arthur song should be nothing but slaps with integrated rap lines but the duo switches it up here.
“Dirty Diana” is definitely that song that makes it to your sex playlist. On a slow but impetus moody production, the rapgod delivers a well suited vocal performance and a convincingly atmospheric take on sexual desires. This Boye The Genius beat is laced with timeless piano chords that run through the entire song. This is not the first time Kiddblack has shown off his vocals; he did same on “Lost” featuring KwakuBS and $pacely and very recently on Nxrwth’s summer bop “Sundress“.
The song’s sexual fantasies work in tandem with Kiddblack’s raunchy voice, equaling the composure set with the first verse, Ground Up Chale’s frontman Kwesi Arthur handles the chorus with his honeyed voice. As expected, KiddBlack delivers an explicit rap verse that caps off a flawless song by the rappers you’d least expect to cook up something like this.
The song is well polished, with a libertine manifesto, wrapping up an excellent vocal performance of odes to the grown and freaky, making the song sound like a transmission from an alternate universe where the sensual and the divine not only commingle but are worshipped at the same altar.
“Dirty Diana” is definitely not the only project we should expect from the two Gifted musicians. With Boye at the heart of the production, we are to expect more content from them.
