The title of the EP, “Greetings From Abroad”, was inspired by an early 2000s Ghanaian TV show hosted by Nana Adwoa Awindor, the mother of popular Ghanaian singer Efya. On the EP, KooKusi tells this story from his own perspective, sharing his experiences and struggles as a Ghanaian living in the United States.
With his unique blend of Afrobeat and hip-hop, KooKusi brings his listeners on a journey through his life experiences. The EP includes tracks such as “Greatest Fear”, “Agya Amo Calling”, and “Nsuro“. Each track showcases KooKusi’s ability to deliver meaningful lyrics while maintaining a catchy and upbeat rhythm that keeps his audience engaged.
