1. D’bellz – One More Time
Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer D’bellz (Bello Mubarak Olashile) exhibits his admirable musical craft in the new single “One More Craft”. D’bellz concentrates on composing tunes that will entice audiences and the latest is no exemption. Oozing with catchy grooves, relatable lyrical content, and likable instrumentals, the Afrobeats-inspired tune reviews the feeling associated with love or infatuation.
2. Yinka – Unqualified
British singer and songwriter Yinka releases an Afrobeats, Afro-pop, and Afro-fusion-inspired tune labeled “Unqualified”. The single is retrieved from the 3-track R&B album It’s All Love, which comprises ear candy songs. With infectious rhythms, enticing vocals, and apt instrumentation, Yinka captures the limelight and gets you hooked on her rich and honey-dipped melodies. “Unqualified” discusses the concept of a person overstepping their boundaries.
3. Daniella Binyamin – Abba
Swedish singer-songwriter Daniella Binyamin releases her much-anticipated pop EP titled Abba (comprising 6 tracks of commendable synth work). The titular lead track is a delicately stunning single which touches on sorting out a turmoil of emotions and disappointments. Recounting the emotional rollercoasters, Daniella explains: “The lead track ‘Abba’ is an energetic yet sad track, a crying-on-the-dance floor anthem to listen to when you need to get all those hard feelings out of your system. It’s a jumble of hope, devastation, freedom and a touch of madness and set the tone for the feelings I had when writing both the song and the EP.”
4. Momoyo – Veins
5 member Belgian band Momoyo releases the much-anticipated new album Gaps In Time. Consisting of 10 indie pop anthems, it takes the extra step to captivate the masses with a stimulating experience. The third song of the album, “Veins” is a soothing and calming tune that centers on patience. Wrapped in flawless vocals and inviting instrumentals, “Veins” is the perfect embodiment of an indie folk and pop blend.
