Nigerian Afrobeats and street-hop artist TEEgod makes another statement with “Justice for My Life”, a motivational new single that reflects on the sacrifices, setbacks, and determination often hidden behind the pursuit of success.
Known for blending gritty storytelling with melodic delivery, TEEgod draws from the influences of Lil Wayne, Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Drake to shape a sound that connects Afrobeats with rap.
His journey has not been without its challenges.
After taking a break from music during college due to financial difficulties, he returned to pursue his passion full-time in 2025, carrying the mindset of a “Big Believer” an identity that also inspired his 2025 EP of the same name.
That belief has continued to shape his journey.
Following the attention surrounding ‘Gbogbonise’, which led to a video collaboration with Nollywood actor and content creator Charles Okocha, TEEgod has kept building his catalogue with releases including ‘Mma Mma’ featuring Zyno TopBoy and ‘Forever’.
Now, with “Justice for My Life”, he turns the spotlight on the less glamorous side of ambition.
Recorded in Lagos and produced by Originalbeats, the track explores the personal costs, difficult choices, and persistence that can come before a breakthrough.
Its message is clear: keep pushing, even when people doubt what you are capable of.
The line, “They doubted me, I had to do something m I became so good they can’t ignore,” captures that mindset perfectly.
As his third single of 2026, “Justice for My Life” is another glimpse into TEEgod’s journey and a reminder that sometimes, the biggest victories begin with refusing to give up.
