Ayra Starr Shines in Exciting New Jordan Campaign

Ayra Starr

Ayra Starr, real name Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, joins a long list of Afrobeat artistes, including Wizkid, Davido, Tems, Rema, and others, who have collaborated with some of the world’s largest sportswear brands.

She has been featured in a new promotional campaign, for the Jumpman Women Collection by Jordan. In March 2022, Jordan Brand announced a new project called ‘The Women’s Collective’. This was Jordan’s first collective of women as the brand aims to exemplify “that there is indeed room for all women at the table”.

Ayra Starr shared a video on her social media page, with the caption “Sabi girl x Jordan”, announcing her partnership with the renowned brand as they released their new line, which is available online and in-store. Stepping out in the streets of Paris in a full Jordan ensemble for Jordan women, Ayra is flawlessly fusing together music, fashion, and sports in this latest campaign.

Just a few days ago, Ayra’s Mavin Records label mate, Rema, had his moment in the spotlight too! He modeled for Jordan’s collection alongside the NBA legend himself, Michael Jordan, and a star-studded lineup of NBA players like Jayson Tatum, Luca Doncic, and Zion Williamson. We couldn’t be prouder of these two MAVIN Records superstars representing Afrobeat on such a big stage.

Ayra Starr’s collaboration with Jordan is a testament to the growing influence of Afrobeat artistes in the fashion world. It’s amazing to see how these Afrobeats stars are not only making waves in the music scene but also becoming style icons in the fashion world. We can’t wait to see what other exciting projects await her and other talents in the future.
