Shawn Mlotshwa, better known as Toxic Chemical, is a vibrant DJ and producer from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, specializing in Afro House and Tech Music.

His latest track, “Glory,” which features his label mate Pipido, delves into the vibrant realm of Amapiano, offering a fresh perspective on Southern African dance music. Released under Afro Creative Records, this song represents the cutting edge of contemporary sounds emerging from Zimbabwe and beyond.

Drawing inspiration from legendary figures like Oskido and Black Coffee, Toxic Chemical has honed his craft to become one of the most sought-after producers in his country and abroad. Collaborating with renowned artists such as MELO-T, Lordson, and EQUIE, he has garnered widespread acclaim for his innovative approach to music production.

Alongside impactful projects like the collaborative EP “The Wanderers” and his solo project “Nite of Gong,” he’s also planning to release an EP titled “Glory” with Pipido in June.
