Zimbabwean songstress JoyRukanza premieres the official music video for newly released “Queendom“.
Hot on the heels of two previously released singles “New Day” and “Roses”, both lifted off her impending debut album, the burgeoning Zimbabwean songstress comes through with yet another album precursor titled “Queendom”.
“Queendom” is a pop and RnB song with a title and lyrical content that serves to share an aggressive message about the empowerment of women. In her own words JoyRukanza says, “Queendom is a song that implores women to be the best versions of themselves. It is meant to empower them and give them courage in whatever circumstances they may find themselves in.”
The fiery soundtrack is brought to life with a picturesque music video filmed at various exotic locations in the beautiful country of Tanzania.The music video for “Queendom” was directed ace Tanzanian music video director Silvester Renatus “Twinner” Kikoti with a plot centering on a scorned woman who mets vengeance on her cheating spouse.
