Ghanaian Afropop and Afrobeats singer, Wendy Asiamah Addo, popularly known as Wendy Shay, made her debut appearance on Glitch Africa.
Wendy Shay performed a live rendition of her latest song, ‘Survivor’. The song, which was released earlier this year under RuffTown Records, has received several positive comments and reviews from her fans and music lovers. It also debuted on Apple Music Top 100 Ghana songs chart during its first week of release and currently holds the no. 55 spot on the music chart.
The talented singer showed her versatility in the performance which was posted on the official Twitter page of Glitch Africa and music lovers including award-winning Ghanaian musician Efya have expressed positive reactions about her performance.
Glitch Africa, a Nigerian initiative that launched in 2021, expanded to Ghana a few days ago with Gyakie and Lasmid being the first performing acts. The CEO, Best Amakhian, spoke about his plans to extend Glitch Africa’s reach to other countries on the continent like South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
