Skillz8Figure, born Habib Tamu is a budding hip-hop/afrobeat artist of Ghanaian and Sierra Leonean descent.
Skillz8Figure is a formidable young artiste with his skill and versatility. His sound is a unique hybrid of trap and afrobeat. Maryland-USA, born and bred, he knew as early as 12 that music was what he wanted to spend his life doing.
After graduating high school, Skillz8Figure decided to move back to Ghana to “get back to his roots” and pursue his dream. He has already collaborated with contemporaries KwakuBS, Quamina MP, Mike Millz and Yung Demz amongst many others.
Skillz8Figure introduced us to his sound with afrobeat single, “Ohemaa” produced by Kayso. Ohemaa was released under Ground Up with video direction by Thyron.
