The Gifted Ghanaian lyricist, M.anifest follows up with his impressive verse on Burna Boy’s Another Day- a Song which speaks on the backstory of Nigeria’s Colonization and Independence- with new song, ‘Big Mad’.
Big Mad, a song produced by MikeMillzOnEm features the sweet flowing vocals of Nigeria’s beloved Singer Simi. Simi sang a heartfelt chorus on the Afrobeat instrumental with Hip-hop undertones. Big Mad happens to be the first single off The Rapper’s forthcoming EP- The Gamble, a follow up to his 2016 Album, ‘Nowhere Cool’.
In an interview with Tim Westwood, the godMC confirmed Simi and Burna Boy will be featured on the imminent EP and will consist of 7-8 songs.
In the delightful Apagnawen Annankra & Gene Adu directed video, the two main characters- Simi and M.anifest aren’t seeing eye to eye with their respective partners. We see M.anifest drop apology filled bars to a woman (Princess Fathia Nkrumah) who he hurt terribly. Simi, who isn’t ready to forgive her man (Andrew M Bunting) plays the victim in this short Romantic flick.
