The Shatta Movement Empire boss Shatta Wale makes quite an impression with self-directed video for single “Sleepless Night”.
Multiple award-winning dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has made his directorial debut with his latest music video dubbed “Sleepless Night”.
Produced by usual collaborator Beatz Vampire, “Sleepless Night” can be described as a modern reggae rhythm on which Shatta Wale speaks on usual inspirational themes of resilience, overcoming obstacles, and proving adversaries wrong.
The “African Dancehall King” who is known to be a longtime admirer of Jamaican dancehall icon Vybz Kartel (real name: Adidja Palmer) likens himself to the “World Boss” in one of the bars as he croons: “But mi bad fram mi born like Mr Adidja Palmer”.
