Sarkodie Leads Azonto Resurgence with Banger “Fa Hooki Me” ft Tulenkey

Ghana Sarkodie Hooki Me

The “Sarkodie” musical onslaught continues as he serves fans with all-new Azonto banger dubbed “Fa Hooki Me” featuring gifted rapper Tulenkey.

Coming off the back of consecutive single releases which include grimey rap joint “Sub-Zero” and love duets “Overload 1” and “Overload 2” ft Efya and young Nigerian crooner Oxlade respectively, Sarkodie continues his musical onslaught as he serves fans with all-new banger dubbed “Fa Hooki Me” ft gifted rapper Tulenkey.

The most awarded rapper in Africa kick-started yet another campaign (the first being #BehindDaHitz) on Twitter to bring back Azonto. Tweeting with the hashtag #BringBackAzonto, Sarkodie called on fellow artistes to bless fans with new Azonto inspired bangers as he readied his own release dubbed “Fa Hooki Me” featuring fast-rising rapper Tulenkey.

This got social media buzzing as fans and artists alike joined the bandwagon, reminiscing about the golden era of the afrobeat sub-genre as they shared throwback videos and audio snippets, culminating in the hashtag trending number 1 in Ghana.

Tweeting at rapper/producer E.L, a key player in the sub genre’s global explosion, Sarkodie called for the two to reconnect on yet another collaborative effort almost a decade after the two blessed fans with legendary azonto bangers “You Go Kill Me” and “Dangerous”.

Sarkodie’s online influence was acknowledged by Billboard a week ago when he debuted on their Top 50 Social Charts and he doesn’t look like slowing down anytime soon.

Sarkodie’s all-new collaboration with E.L is set to drop this Saturday! But for now, enjoy the latest “Fa Hooki Me” produced by Pee On The Beat.
