Afrobeat Icon Mugeez Teases Solo EP with new Single ‘Chihuahua’

mugeez

Iconic Ghanaian musician, and one-half of legendary Tema-based music powerhouse R2bees, Mugeez serves all-new single dubbed ‘Chihuahua’. Produced by Zodivc, ‘Chihuahua’ is a mid-tempo contemporary highlife jam.

Mugeez has kept busy over the past year, releasing back to back singles, freestyles, and collaborations. His most recent work is a collaborative effort between himself, DJ Mic Smith and Kwesi Arthur on afrobeat banger ‘Dripping’.

‘Chihuahua’ like all his recent solo projects, is being released under Extrial Music. Extrial Music is owned and headed by Mugeez himself, and powered by R2Bees Music, intended to host his solo projects and also sign budding acts and producers on the scene.

Already having ace producer Zodivc under the imprint, the first recording artist signed under his Extrial Music is Tecknikal, a young aspiring artist from Ghana.

According to the music icon, ‘Chihuahua’ is a give-away single intended to whet our appetites for an impending solo EP due for later this year, “I will be releasing a couple of singles which are not same as the ones on the EP before dropping the main tape later this year.”
