Mr Eazi Announces Launch of an Empawa Music Mobile Application.

Coming off the back being named on Forbes Africa’s 30 under 30 lists, Nigerian artist, Mr Eazi took to his Twitter on 5th April 2020 to announce the launch of an Empawa Music mobile application which is available for download on Android.

In the same tweet, he also announced the intent of his outfit to partner Mobile Telecommunications Company MTN Nigeria in a bid to zero-rate the app, meaning you will be able to use it without paying for data.

According to Don Eazi, the main function of the mobile application is to help aggregate, filter and review audition entries from emerging artists.

Empawa Africa which is owned by the ‘Leg Over’ hitmaker, is a talent incubator that helps emerging artists reach higher heights by equipping them with music business knowledge, talent development opportunities, and funding. Artistes who work with Empawa include J Derobie, Joeboy, and GuiltyBeatz.

Meanwhile, Mr Eazi on April 3rd also called for artistic minds who are good at animations and visualizers to send samples of their works. According to him, the selected artist will be presented with the opportunity for Empawa from the comfort of their homes while getting paid.
