Kirani AYAT’s ‏MADfest Returns: Bigger and Better!

Kirani Ayat

This year’s annual Music of African Descent Festival (MADfest) officially kicks off on December 22nd at 7pm at the Madina Number 1 Park.

Now entering its 4th year, MADfest has only grown in size and profile since its 2015 debut.

The brainchild and passion project of its creator, rapper Kirani AYAT,
the festival is a means of giving back to his beloved Madina community
while providing a platform for up and coming talents, especially those
from Madina, to showcase their music.

The journey hasn’t always been an easy one.  Ayat famously sold 85% of
his belongings in order to fund the production for the 2016 edition.
In spite of the challenges, MADFest has only grown from strength to
strength over the years, and has featured such headlining acts as
Medikal, Edem, Teephlow, Akan, Kwesi Arthur, Worlasi and M.anifest to
the delight of the thousands in attendance.

MADfest 2018 promises to deliver the same thrills, excellent music and
raucous party atmosphere as previous years, but bigger and better! And
its FREE!

For a unique night of music and sheer energy, don’t miss out on
M.A.D.Fest 2018!
