DJ Juls’ Latest EP will take you to a “Happy Place”

DJ JULS HAPPY PLACE

British-Ghanaian DJ and record producer, Juls has released his new project dubbed “Happy Place” EP.

“Happy Place” is DJ Juls’ latest compilation release since last summer’s 10-track EP dubbed “Colours”, with earlier released singles “Your Number” featuring King Promise and Mugeez; and “Soweto Blues” featuring Busiswa making it unto the EP.

Although “Happy Places” houses half the number of tracks as earlier released “Colours”, both projects are similar with regards to the wide array of musical genres they house. DJ Juls successfully manages to squeeze elements of Afrobeat, Highlife, House, Amapiano, and even Reggae on his latest 5-track project.

Aside from his minimalist Afropop beats, DJ Juls is also renowned for his “mission statement” of bridging the musical gap between the most talented acts across the continent of Africa and the diaspora. This is again showcased here as “Happy Place” EP spots features from the likes of Canadian based Nigerian act Tobi, Jamaican Reggae star Jah Cure, South African Diva Busiswa, UK-based R&B songstress Jaz Karis and Ghanaian afrobeat icons King Promise and Mugeez.
