Black Sherif is the Discovery Of The Year at the Ghana Entertainment Awards USA

Ghanaian musician Black Sherif won the award for Discovery Of The Year at the 2022 edition of the Ghana Entertainment Awards USA.

The ‘Second Sermon’ hitmaker emerged victorious in a group with Nanky, Tripcy, Jay Bhad, Talaat Yaaky, Kawabanga and Chief One. The 4th Ghana Entertainment Awards USA made its return from a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The initiative was designed with the sole aim of projecting and celebrating the achievements of Ghanaian creatives and entertainers who have been outstanding in other crafts in and outside Ghana.

This year’s 2022 Ghana Entertainment Awards USA which was scheduled for July 8 took place at the BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center in New York.

Black Sherif rose to stardom with his hit tune “First Sermon”. He later followed it up with a remix with Nigerian Grammy award-winner Burna Boy.
