Nigerian musician, author, and creative, Apolo Imon dropped a 7 track EP entitled Fila.
The crooner brings forth a mix of vibely mid-tempo beats and a dynamic voice to create the perfect post-summer wave.
The project was made in less than a week but does well to keep the audience bopping to each song. This is a confident expression of originality crafted by Ghanaian producer Kuvie, as they balance African sounds from both countries of Origin and more. Apolo stands out with his unapologetic style, unique voice and relaxed but precise approach to the beats provided.
JOC, a creative company owned and managed by award-winning radio jockey Joel Orleans of Y 109 FM, is partnering young talented singer Apolo, to enhance his career.
According to Orleans, this partnership will catapult the fairly unknown act unto the world stage.
“We are partnering with Apolo to help nurture his talent and creativity. With the support of our partners, we want to project his ability to the world. I must stress that Apolo is an incredible talent. Working with Kuvie, he has created magic, and we can’t wait for the world to experience it, ” he stated.
On his part, the artist also thanked the company for its interest, pledging to give off his very best: “I am excited about this partnership and I know it will take me places. JOC isn’t just a partner —it’s also home for me. I have been working with them for some time, and I must confess that they are very well organized.”
Apolo’s Fila is already receiving massive endorsement fans, influencers, and other artists. This tape is a vibe, but more importantly, a very solid introductory showcase coming from two geniuses with a new sound. Enjoy.
