UK-based Ghanaian singer-songwriter Ama Adem leaves a lasting impression with sultry visuals to the newly released single “Faded”.

A precursor to a looming debut EP, Ama Adem describes “Faded” as a song that explores the idea of being in love and having to let go. Produced by NSG’s Mojo, the Afropop number sees Ama paint the picture of a carefree love with a combination of her soothing voice, and her simple yet impeccable lyricism.

Born in Ghana, the UK-based singer-songwriter discovered her musical talents early on, writing her first song at the tender age of 9. Fingering Ghanaian legends Kojo Antwi, and Nana Fynn as two of her biggest musical influences, the songbird seeks to take listeners on spellbinding expeditions with her music.

Directed by ace music video director Prince Dovlo, the music video for “Faded” is inspired by love and lockdown, depicting the songbird musing about spending time with her lover while locked down in isolation. Ama’s love interest is played by renowned Ghanaian dancer Incredible Zigi, and the two are pictured in an expertly choreographed sultry dance routine that radiantly brings the song life!
