Toyboi – M.I.A
Toyboi becomes the latest GH rapper to jump on the drill wave with his latest drop. Aptly titled “Misssing In Action”, this marks the rapper’s first major outing of the calendar year. The hard-hitting freestyle was produced by Fortune Dane. The Amanor Blac directed music video highlights sights and scenes from the suburbs of ToyBoi’s Osu neighbourhood.
Larruso – One Man
Larruso’s latest video release “One Man” is hot on the heels of singles “Gi Dem” and “System”. The dancehall record was produced by versatile Ghanaian producer, CaskeysOnit. The Abeiku Simonsson directed video progressively tells the story of the teenage sensation’s musical journey thus far.
Yung Pabi – Guy Nu
Rapper Yung Pabi outdoors his first single of the calendar year dubbed: “Guy No”. This his first ever outing after giving us critically acclaimed debut project “Running with Men on Horses” late last year. Yung Pabi dishes out his trademark flow on a thumping Magnom and PaaBright produced instrumental.
Bryan The Mensah – Seeing is Believing
“Seeing is Believing” is the lead single off the rapper’s forthcoming “Not Going Outside” EP which comes hot off the heels of earlier released “I Don’t Feel Like Going Outside”. “Last year I tell my body say this be my last year of being broke” Bryan The Mensah raps.
Camidoh – Maria
Building anticipation towards the release of his debut compilation project, gifted vocalist Camidoh outdoors latest single titled “Maria” produced by usual collaborator Nektunez. The afropop bop has everything we have come to expect from a Camidoh record – sweet melodies, amazing vocals and a top notch production.
J.Derobie – My People
Dancehall sensation J.Derobie outdoors dancehall anthem “My people” – an ode to the people of the community of Nungua which he represents. The song doubles as the lead single of his debut compilation project, an EP titled “Nungua Diaries”. In an interview with us, the Empawa Africa act revealed “Nungua Diaries” is a precursor to his highly anticipated “A King is Born” album.
Shay D ft AD DJ – TurnOp
Priceless Life Entertainment act Shay D make a return with party anthem “TurnOp” featuring disc jockey AD DJ. The upbeat song was produced by usual suspect B2 of sensational twin duo DopeNation. The Gordon Appiah directed music video is a party in itself!
Mista Myles – Make Me Dance
Mimlife Records act Mista Myles outdoors afrobeat tune titled “Make Me Dance”. The feel-good afrobeat tune was produced by NixieOfficivl with colourful visuals shot and directed by Kofi Awuah II.
Kweku Smoke – Yie Yie
“Yie Yie” is a jargon which has been trending on social media lately. It appears rapper Kweku Smoke seeks to ride on the trend to deliver yet another street anthem! The upbeat hiphop cut speaks on hustling in the city of Accra and was produced by usual collaborator A Town TSB.
Kwaisey P ft Medikal – Nonfa
Veteran highlife crooner Kwaisey P recruits rapper on Medikal on mid-tempo contemporary highlife jam titled “Nonfa”. Renowned for his soothing voice, Kwaisey P surprisingly combines exquisitely with Medikal on the innuendo-laden highlife tune. Watch the Yaw Skyface directed video below.
