The 23rd edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards took place on Saturday 8th May and Lynx Entertainment’s KiDi was the Artiste of the Year.
This year, the winners of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards came from votes fans sent in for different categories.
The winners of the 2022 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards were declared at the Grand Arena in Accra over the weekend, with KiDi emerging as the Artiste of the Year.
These awards put the spotlight on Ghanaian musicians and the entertainment industry. This year’s Artiste of the Year beat difficult competition from Black Sherif, King Promise, Kuami Eugene, Sarkodie and Joe Mettle to emerge winner.
The ceremony saw performances from rapper Gambo, Black Sherif, Sefa, Obrafour, Camidoh, Stonebwoy, Joe Mettle, Niella, King Promise and Mr. Drew, Kelvyn Boy, D-Black, Mayorkun and many others.
