Tamaté Shares His Sophomore Project ‘XXVII’

Tamaté

Ghanaian singer-songwriter and producer Tamaté shares his sophomore project ‘XXVII’.

The musician who uses his music as a tool to connect himself to the world is known for composing sweet earworms that represent the varying cultures he’s assimilated.

XXVII is Tamaté’s sophomore project; a collection of 7 of his favorite songs recorded during the year. A mix of soul, R&B, and a wrap of cityscapes, his intentions with this project are to show his fans the other side of his music they have not experienced. This project highlights and acknowledges his growth in his personal life: reviving and restoring hopes, being mindful of the flags in relationships he’s been involved in, and making a conscious effort to have time taken out to have fun – all encapsulated in his most preferred subject matter, love.

Tamaté

He kicks it off with a sentimental solo performance that crescendos along the way and a choral touch while presenting the audiovisual messaging on the limitlessness (and probable limitations) with the song “Superpower”. It then transitions into guitar strummings and light piano touches with the song “Should’ve Never”, furthering into a certified alte jam “Anything”, and closes with L.C.D.D, a dubstepy/dance song to carry you into a groove so good you will find it hard to let go!
