Stonebwoy outdoors visuals to “Le Gba Gbe”, the first song on the tracklist of his critically acclaimed “Anloga Junction” album.
“Le Gba Gbe” is the opener of Stonebwoy’s critically acclaimed 15-track “Anloga Junction” album – a classic traditional masterpiece written and performed predominantly in his native ”Ewe” dialect.
The video premiered yesterday at 4pm GMT via The Fader. Speaking to the The Fader about the song Stonebwoy said:
“‘Le gba gbe means alive. It talks about living. It’s a beautiful song that tells the story of life; focus and determination. It’s very spiritual.”
The motivational song has a deep message of breaking free from mental slavery. Shot at his ancestral hometown of Anloga, the Rex-directed music video accurately depicts this theme through the effective use of symbolism.
