South African rapper Riky Rick finally voices out about the beef AKA has with Cassper Nyovest.
For those who may not know, the beef between Cassper Nyovest and AKA started in 2014, after Cassper declared his song Doc Shebeleza as the biggest song in the South African hip hop industry. AKA who wasn’t pleased with the statement expressed his sentiments on his hit single ‘Congratulate‘, throwing a few subtle shots at the ‘Mama I Made It‘ hitmaker.
Since then, there have been a series of diss songs and sneak disses. AKA’s ‘Composure’ and Cassper’s ‘Dust 2 Dust‘ are the two stand out diss songs from the South African rappers.
Riky Rick, who has worked with the 2 musicians finally weighs in on how he feels about the beef with a series of tweets.
He voices out about how AKA and Cassper’s beef affects South African Hip Hop music and also bashed AKA’s recent unnecessary attack on Cassper’s parents stating that he reached out to AKA privately after the incident.
This was Riky Rick’s introductory tweet:
The Aka/cass beef is exhausting for the game. It might exciting for twitter but behind the scenes its something most rappers keep quiet on because its draining the life out of the culture.

Riky Rick also expressed how he felt about no longer being close friends with Cassper Nyovest.
I hate watching them fight. I hate not being in cass life because we had many great times together and not too stubborn to say I miss him as a homie. I gain no joy in seeing him be attacked by ANYONE. He’s in da trenches investing everything in building something real for hiphop.
