Popcaan recently released all-new visuals to single “Promise”. The song is lifted is from the Deejay’s 2019 mixtape “Vanquish,” which happens to be the first project he produced under OVO Sound imprint.
The music video was predominantly shot in Ghana, highlighting the exotic landscapes of the Aburi Botanical Gardens, and also features cut-away scenes which chronicle Poppy’s recent visit to the exotic West African country.
“Promise” is a love song about commitment. It speaks to committing to having a lover’s back through thick and thin.
“If you fall, I’m ready. I’m here for you. I’m here, promise,” Popcaan sings to his stunning love interest in the refreshing visuals.
