Larry Gaaga releases the much-anticipated soundtrack album of “Living in Bondage: Breaking Free”.

The album which features industry heavyweights Flavour, 2Baba, Patoranking, Iyanya, Peruzzi, Davido, Omawumi, in a body of work is set to top the buzz around the movie.

‘Living in Bondage: Breaking Free’, is a sequel to the well-acclaimed Nollywood movie, ‘Living in Bondage’, which focuses on a young couple’s struggle with love, betrayal, suffering, and redemption.

The soundtrack album includes 12 songs – presenting soulful sounds, with a blend of pop and afro beats like that of Finish Me ft 2 face, Waje, Omawumi, and Peruzzi; In my Head ft Patoranking; Follow me ft Syemca and Trust Nobody ft Skales and Yung L. The album in its entirety tugs at the emotions of listeners exploring the different experiences of love and redemption. Each song, although varying in tone, sound, and rhythm is powerfully connected by their collective authenticity and bound together by the universal theme of the movie.

The delivery of the 12 song soundtrack album reinforces Larry Gaaga as a triple threat within the show business as he has demonstrated in recent projects. Earlier this month, Larry Gaaga released a well-received single ‘Tene’ featuring Flavour, however, nothing could have prepared us for the stimulating collaborations the soundtrack offers.

“We all know how important music is to us, our hope is that Nollywood will start to understand and properly value the key role that music should play in films.”, Ezegozie Eze Jr,  General Manager of Universal Music Nigeria commented.

‘Living in Bondage: Breaking Free’ hits cinemas nationwide from November 8. However, until then, we are left with the feel-good soundtrack that still covers vital social commentary.
