Nigerian rap heavyweight Ice Prince eulogizes South African rap Legend HHP in his latest release. The tribute song for the late Jabulani Tsambo who would have turned 39 on September 14th is dubbed “A Verse For Jabba”.
“A Verse For Jabba” comes almost a month before the anniversary of the icon’s passing. Paying tribute to his comrade, Ice Prince takes us down memory lane highlighting HHP’s impact and legacy on hip-hop across the continent.
Listening to the song it becomes increasingly apparent that he considered HHP more than just an industry peer, but a friend and a mentor.
