Gyakie’s ‘Something’ Rises to No. 3 on Apple Music’s Top 100: Ghana

Ghanaian Afrobeats and Highlife sensation, Jackline Acheampong, popularly known as Gyakie is continuing her steady rise in the music industry.

The beloved singer, songwriter and performer released her latest smash hit ‘Something’ on Friday, June 10, 2022, and it debuted on Apple Music’s Top 100: Ghana charts during its first week of release.

The song has been positively received by her fans and music lovers and has currently risen to the 3rd position on Apple Music’s Top 100: Ghana music chart. The Andy Madjitey-directed music video for ‘Something’ currently has over 1.2 million views on YouTube.

Something’ is off her upcoming Extended Play titled “My Dairy” which is scheduled for release on Friday, July 22, 2022.

In related news, Gyakie just released a new single, also from her impending EP, titled ‘For My Baby‘. The song, which is track 3 on the EP, has a distinct pop production which you would love. It will make a great addition to your love-themed playlists.
