Guvna B Releases Creative Visuals For “These Are The Days” With Ezra Collective

Guvna B

Fresh off a top 5 spot on the UK Hip-Hop & R&B Albums chart, Newham’s own double- MOBO winning rapper Guvna B unveils the brand-new video for fan-favorite “These Are The Days”.

Bringing life back into the summertime, Guvna taps new school jazz pioneers Ezra Collective for a breezy, jazz affair with natural swing and bounce. In spite of challenging times, “These Are The Days” serves as a light dose of encouragement and a reminder to be thankful. With guest cameos from Capital Xtra’s Rob Bruce, Ezra Collective’s own Femi Koleoso plus his wife and son, the new visuals are a colorful affair that is also unique, thoughtful, and infectiously uplifting.

Speaking on the track, Guvna states: “Even on the darkest of days, the sun still shines in the morning. This tracks all about making the best of bad situations and hoping for a better tomorrow. It’s a challenging time for a lot of us at the moment, and I’d love this song to be a beacon of light. I recognize that life isn’t easy, but I really believe there’s always blessings we can count.”

Between his latest album ‘everywhere + nowhere’ – featuring the likes of J Hus’ producer TSB, Wretch 32 and Barney Artist – picking up critical acclaim across THE FINANCIAL TIMES to THE LINE OF BEST FIT and a feature on Michaela Coel’s international smash hit Netflix series I May Destroy You, Guvna continues to define himself as one of the most versatile and creative artists in the UK right now. A forthcoming tour in November for his 2nd book Unspoken – addressing themes of toxic masculinity and processing loss, 2020 will no doubt be the most defining year for the East London renaissance man.
