Multiple award-winning South African rap titan AKA has released the video for his single “Cross My Heart”, and announces COVID-19 recovery.
“Cross My Heart” is one of a triple threat of singles AKA dropped on our heads some weeks back. The corresponding visuals for each single are set to be released each week kick-starting with “Cross My Heart”. The other singles are titled “Energy” and “Monuments”.
The music video premiere for “Cross My Heart” coincided with his COVID-19 recovery announcement.
This follows AKA’s public disclosure of his positive COVID-19 status this past Friday, and his resolve to be as candid and transparent as possible about his recovery journey.
As AKA continues to build his strength on his COVID-19 recovery, he also celebrates his two #SAMA26 nominations for his single Jika, in the categories Record Of The Year and Music Video Of The Year which was announced last week.
