With a voice that resonates with sincerity and emotion, Mungo’s new track touches on themes of love, nostalgia, and lingering memories that are sure to strike a chord with audiences around the world.

Mungo has been a fixture on the Malawian music scene since his debut in 2017 with the popular single ‘Come Thru.’

Born and raised in Lilongwe, Mungo’s musical journey began early, nurtured by a childhood filled with church choirs, school bands, and mentorship from his older sister, Alinane Mildred Mphande.

Drawing inspiration from global icons like Beyoncé, Wizkid, Frank Ocean, and Mi Casa, as well as local favorites like Busie, Mungo’s music showcases a diverse array of influences that blend seamlessly into his unique sound.

Despite balancing music with school and helping his family’s business, Mungo has managed to establish himself as a respected artist in Malawi, releasing an album in 2018 and an EP in 2019. Now, he’s working on a new album set to be released next year.

‘Do You Still Think of Me’ is a soulful exploration of lost love and the haunting question of whether someone from the past still holds a place in their heart for him.

With its emotive lyrics and captivating melodies, the song captures a sense of vulnerability and longing, inviting listeners to reflect on their own experiences of love and remembrance.

Mungo’s introspective lyrics, paired with his soulful delivery, make ‘Do You Still Think of Me’ a track that listeners will find both relatable and deeply moving.

As Mungo continues to evolve his sound and reach new heights in his career, ‘Do You Still Think of Me’ is a testament to his ability to convey universal emotions through his music, solidifying his place as one of Malawi’s rising stars.
