Davido’s “Unavailable” featuring South African act Musa Keys has set a new record as the first Afrobeats song released this year to hit the 50M stream mark.

The Afrobeats superstar’s smash hit, “Unavailable,” from his Timeless Album, has taken the music world by storm, breaking records and winning hearts worldwide.

The Digital Streaming Platform’s official Songs of Summer predictions are based on a number of factors, including streaming numbers, current trajectory and future forecasting from its global curation team. 50 million streams in 3 months is very impressive and Davido hopes to cross the 100 million landmark soon too. 

The success of “Unavailable” is however not limited to digital streams. The song has also made waves in the UK, selling over 100,000 units and edging closer to a coveted silver certification. The song is also set to hit the US Urban Radio on July 25th.
