Empire Welcomes Asake to their Family

Nigerian singer Asake has been announced as the new act to join the American record label and distribution company, Empire.

The news was announced by Empire via its official social media pages on Monday, July 18, 2022.
They made the announcement with the caption:

“We’re happy to officially welcome Mr. Money aka @asakemusik to the EMPIRE family. Peep the thread below to get familiar with Nigeria’s breakout star”.

Asake, who is also referred to as Mr. Money has had the attention of music lovers since the year started with his debut EP, ‘Ololade Asake’. He was later unveiled as a YBNL signee by the label boss, Olamide.

The singer has since then been topping the charts with hit songs like; ‘Omo Ope‘, ‘Palazzo‘, ‘Sungba‘ which got a remix with the African Giant, Burna Boy and his most recent single, ‘Peace Be Unto You’.
The label already has collaboration deals with Black Sherif and fellow Nigerian acts like Wande Coal, Fireboy DML and Kizz Daniel. They also work or have worked with other international superstars including Snoop Dogg, Tyga, Kendrick Lamar and Fat Joe.

YBNL Nation sealed a partnership deal with Empire Music in 2020. Though the details surrounding the rising musician’s partnership with Empire remain unknown, it is evident that the raving singer is set to achieve greater heights with this new deal.
