Nigerian singer-songwriter Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems has postponed her impending shows in England.
On Tuesday 14th of June, the talented singer revealed that she has been diagnosed with Reflux Laryngitis and has been advised by her doctor to cancel her forthcoming shows in Birmingham and London scheduled to have happened today, the 15th of June and the 17th of July respectively.
Tems, who became the first Nigerian artiste in history to have a song debut at the number spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, expressed her disappointment.
She mentioned that tickets for the show remain valid and promised her fans, the Rebel Gang, that she’d be back soon to give them the best show ever.
According to The Mount Sinai Health System, Reflux laryngitis is an irritation in the back of the throat due to acid or other chemicals that come up from your stomach. This usually happens at night when you’re asleep. Other terms for this problem include gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR), acid reflux, and chronic laryngitis.
Rember her in your prayers.
