Afrobeat singer, songwriter, and music producer Chukwuka Ekweani, popularly known as CKay is reported to have accumulated over a billion Spotify streams with “Love Nwantiti“.
The hit song ‘Love Nwantiti’ has made him one of the best-selling African artistes globally and he recently surpassed Davido as the 4th most streamed African artiste on Spotify.
The song, which appeared on CKay’s album ‘CKay The First,’ was first released three years ago. The six official versions of the original audio, remixes, and videos have all generated over 1.5 billion streams from Spotify alone.
The hit song is certified gold in the UK. ‘Love Nwantiti’ is undoubtedly one of Nigeria’s most successful singles.
