1. Bad Boy Timz – Iz Going

Nigerian singer, Bad Boy Timz has dropped a brand new single titled, “Iz Going“. The song which happens to be his second single of the year was produced by Tempo. “Iz Going is an energetic love song about me toasting a babe and how she rejected my life. Despite her antics, my God was greater than her wahala (stress). Truthfully, this was a joyful song that came during a hard time in my love life and the song expresses what I want from a relationship,” says Timz when asked about the inspiration behind the song. The song follows his previously released single ‘One In Town’.

2. Fireboy DML ft Asake – Bandana

Fireboy DML has released another single off his upcoming third studio album, ‘Playboy’ which is scheduled for release on August 5, 2022. He teamed up with label teammate, Asake to release the song titled ‘Bandana’. The song talks about Fireboy’s existence in the music industry and the journey so far. ‘Bandana’ was produced by P.Priime and serves as a follow-up to Fireboy’s last hit single, ‘Playboy’.

3. Iyanya ft Davido and Kizz Daniel – Like

Nigerian singer, Iyanya has released a new single after his long absence from the music scene titled, ‘Like’ and he featured fellow Nigerian superstars, Davido and Kizz Daniel. The song which happens to be a single off his upcoming album was produced by Reward Beatz. ‘Like’ is Iyanya’s second release for the year following his previous collaboration with Mavin Records diva, Ayra Starr, titled “Call.” Fans are excited about Iyanya’s return and this song deserves to be on your playlist.

4. Chike ft Flavour – Hard To Find

Talented singer and songwriter, Chike serves his listeners with a new song titled ‘Hard To Find’. This time, he teams up with Nigerian highlife legend, Flavour. The song which is off his sophomore album, “The Brother’s Keeper” and co-produced by DeeYasso and Masterkraft talks about how indeed love and the beautiful things of life are hard to find, hence the lyrics; “E dey hard to find, dem no dey see am for road.” The song is accompanied by an official music video directed by Director Pink and produced by Anny Productions.

5. Adekunle Gold – 5 Star

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Adekunle Gold comes through with a new single titled ‘5 Star’. The song was produced by Kel P and serves as a follow-up to his previously released fourth studio album, ‘Catch Me If You Can’ which was dropped in February this year. ‘5 Star’ serves as Adekunle Gold’s third official output for the year 2022 and it’s definitely a must-listen tune.

6. Waje ft Tiwa Savage – All Day

Singer and songwriter Waje collaborates with fellow Nigerian act, Tiwa Savage to release her latest single titled, ‘All Day.’ The song follows her previously released single, ‘Vibes‘ featuring Falz and serves as a build-up to her forthcoming album, ‘Waje 2.0‘ scheduled for release later this year. ‘All Day’ was produced by Nigerian record producer LeriQ.

7. Deejay J Masta – Elegushi

Nigerian disc jockey and songwriter, Deejay J Masta has released a new banger titled “Elegushi.” This time, Deejay J Masta teams up with fellow talented Nigerian singers, Jaywillz and 1Da Banton who delivered impressive lyrical flows. The song, ‘Elegushi’ which was produced by singer and record producer Xtofa serves as the disc jockey’s second single for the year. It follows his previous single, ‘Ilo’.

8. Olakira – Polongo

Talented Nigerian singer, Olakira has released a brand new single titled, “Polongo“. The song serves as the singer’s second output of the year following the success of his first single for 2022, ‘Fall’. ‘Polongo’ talks about the beauty of African dance with its theme centered on love, giving it a sensational and melodious sound. Olakira came into the limelight with his song, ‘Maserati’ which later had a remix with Nigerian superstar, Davido.

9. Lucianne – Te Amo

British-Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress, Lucianne has released a new single titled, ‘Te Amo’ following the success of her previous single ‘More’. Lucianne talks about love and relationships. She opens up about a vulnerable stage in relationships and expresses defiance in the face of her lover who doesn’t value her worth. “Plenty plenty man, dem boku dey wait line, then you hurt me every time, …boy, you know I got options, see I no dey like to dey talk much, if you no get my time boy I don run.” Te Amo was produced by Majeek and is a fusion of both Afrobeats and R&B sounds.
