The hip-hop artist once again makes effective use of highly saturated visuals which intercuts between animation, studio, and exterior locations to no only bring the storyline to life, but also deliver a larger than life effect!
AKA – Cross My Heart
“Cross My Heart” is one of a triple threat of singles AKA dropped on our heads some weeks back. The music video was shot by Studio Space Pictures, and references AKA’s true life love story. Although the music video does not feature his love interest, the song is dedicated to her, therefore, referencing the site where they were first captured together.
Azana – Egoli
South African vocalist and EL World songstress, Azana debuts with her highly anticipated album titled “Ingoma” after making a massive impact withe project’s lead single “Your Love” which was outdoored a month prior the album’s official release. “Ingoma” houses 14 tracks of which track 3: “Egoli” is our pick!
Reason ft Boity – Satan O Wele
Gifted South African rapper Sizwe Moeketsi, who goes by the stage name Reason raises the stakes high as he makes a return with this new song titled “Satan O Wele”, which features rap diva Boity who delivers an impressive guest verse on the track.
The Lowkeys & Shizo ft Swartspeare – Gugu
Sumsound Production drop the latest tune from in-house production super group, The Lowkeys. On this amapiano banger titled “Gugu” they teamed up with Shizo and also featured Swartspeare. The Lowkeys have made a strong call in the house segment. They have recently released hit records such as “Stolen Goods” and also helped DBN Gogo score her amapiano hit, “Mayonice” alongside Jobe London.
Quickfass Cass ft Emtee & PRO – Soudy Soudy II
South African rising rapper, Quickfass Cass dropped a brand new project dubbed “Rookie of the Year”. The project contains 12-tracks and features Emtee, Stogie T and others. The track “Bottom” by Quickfass Cass is taken from the “Rookie Of The Year” album, and sees Quick Fass Cass collaborate with Emtee and Lu.
Ciza – Come Alive
Son of music mogul TK Nciza and Mafikizolo‘s Nhlanhla, the 18-year-old Nkululeko Nciza who goes by the stage name Ciza declares his intent to become a force on the continent with the release of all-new single “Come Alive”.
Nokzen ft Fey – Umthwalo
South African production sensation, Nokzen with much work and consistency dishes out what is already sounding like a new Afro-house hit song titled “Umthwalo” featuring the vocal service of Fey.
Thabzin SA, Tyler ICU & Major League ft. Nia Pearl – Imali
Veteran producer, Thabzin SA employs the service of Tyler ICU and Major League to released a commercial Amapiano single titled “Imali” that features vocals of Nai Pearl.
DJ Maphorisa & Kabza De Small ft. QwestaKufet – Mi Amor
Having helped scored a street hit with “Phoyisa”, Qwestakufet makes a reappearance on “Mi Amor”, an Amapiano joint off the “Scorpion Kings” live project performed by DJ Maphorisa and Kabza de Small. The song also features producers Mas Musiq and Myztro.
Brenden Praise ft Black Motion – Journey To Cairo
Highly rated singer Brenden Praise has been putting together a new project for his many fans for quite a while now. Announced earlier in the week, his latest single dubbed “Journey To Cairo” features Black Motion and appears to be the precursor to the impending project.
