Multi-award-winning African Pop Maverick, TRESOR, releases new single, Smoke & Mirrors, featuring Eastern Cape’s South African Voice of Modern Afro Soul, Ami Faku, taken off his newly released 4th solo studio album, MOTION.
Smoke & Mirrors is a song about a blurry and confusing phase between two lovers fighting for better days and hoping to rebuild their chemistry.
“The track was written right at the beginning of lockdown inspired by past real-life events. I think every relationship goes through blurry moments and I wanted to write a truly vulnerable song about that,” shares TRESOR.
On working with Ami Faku he adds: “She is incredible. Love her voice and she is actually hilarious, so it was fun.”
