‘No Woman No Cry’ by Tems has debuted at the number 1 position on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart.
This song is featured on the prologue soundtrack of Marvel Studios’ impending ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ movie scheduled for release on November 11, 2022.
This is not the first time the singer has achieved this feat, she made it to the number 1 position on the chart with her collaboration with WizKid on the hit record, ‘Essence.’
The song, ‘No Woman No Cry’ also debuts at No. 7 on the Billboard Afrobeats songs chart. Tems is having quite an amazing year so far, she was recently credited as one of the songwriters on Beyoncé’s recently released album, ‘Renaissance’.
