Nigerian Afro-fusion, singer/songwriter Nino De Brown makes a return with new song titled “Corruption”.
Nino De Brown’s style of music consists of a unique blend of different genres, influenced by alternative Hip-hop R&B, Reggae, Pop and Afrobeats sounds. He pulls inspiration from these genres as well as various cultures to define his sound which he categorizes as Afro-pop.
‘Corruption’ comes after the massive success of his debut EP which he dropped earlier in 2021. On this Sidqiq production, Nino addresses social issues whiles keeping things simple and vibely. According to the Nino, the song is about bad governance, bad roads, killings by armed Fulani herders, corruption, and poor medical facilities in his country Nigeria. Judging by the impact and message of this single, it is certain the song will be well received by the general public as it tackles a topical societal issue.
As part of Nino De Brown’s many plans for the future, he intends on releasing his debut album this year with ‘Corruption’ being the lead single.
