South African Nasty C joins the ranks of Lizzo, Kesha and Anne-Marie to have a Shazam Exclusive Playlist on Apple Music – the first time ever for an African artist.
This news comes off the back of the young South African rapper announcing a deal with Def Jam Recording in grand style with the release of “There They Go”.
“I chose these songs because they are my go-to tracks for when I’m in a good mood… I bang this list when I’m traveling, in the car and even in the shower. Music makes me feel free and unrestricted. It’s important to choose your playlist wisely.”
Aside from featuring songs from the likes of Jay-Z, Frank Ocean, Young Thug, and Drake, Nasty C‘s selection included his own cut “There They Go”, the lead single off his impending “Zuluman with some Power” album.
