British–Nigerian singer and songwriter Mohammed Animashaun popularly known as Moelogo has released a new Extended Play titled ‘Euphonic’.
The five-track project infuses Afrobeats and R&B melodies.
The musician made it to the limelight in 2017 when he featured on record producer Jonas Blue’s hit song ‘We Could Go Back’. The song spent 8 weeks on the UK Singles charts and 9 weeks on the US Dance/Electronic Songs charts peaking at No. 74 and No. 34 respectively.
Moelogo became the first artiste in the diaspora to win a Headies Award for the best alternative song with his song ‘I Wonder‘ from his 2020 Extended Play titled ‘ME‘.
In 2017, Moelogo received huge funding from the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), an entity that represents UK recording labels. BPI awarded prize money to 21 UK indie artistes including Moelogo to further their music careers.
The music sensation has worked with superstars like Kelly Rowland; where he co-wrote her song titled ‘Better’. He is also credited for working on Tiwa Savage’s third studio album ‘Celia’.
