Last Friday, music enthusiasts from across the social spectrum, gathered at quaintly ubiquitous Untitled for a one-of-a-kind blind listening of Ibejii’s beautiful afro-soul project, Post-19.

Feedback was swift and stellar.  Guests universally extolled the creativity, craftsmanship and the pleasure of each of the 7 songs and the accompanying music videos.  Guests were especially gushing in comments about the unique blind listening format and the daring of an artiste that would seek the unvarnished opinions of music heads.

Shoutout to Diageo for supporting the colorful evening with canapes and the finest cocktail serves from Gordon’s Moringa Citrus Blend.  Huge appreciation too to Motolani Alake, Pulse NG, and Tinya Alonge, Brand Ambassador at Diageo, for guiding guests through the 7-track cinematic album and the amazing music videos.

Blown is the first release from the project and it features Ibejii’s first collaboration ever – the truly amazing Wavy The Creator.

Post-19 is a cinematic electro-soul project that fuses the finest elements of Afro-soul with the purest elements of East Asian sounds. Tracking the artiste’s hyperbolic emotional encounter with lockdown and its offerings, Post-19 meanders through the innocence and transition of time, life and love.

The entire Post-19 project, will be released on May 20, 2022.
