Ed Sheeran got Manchester singing Fireboy DML’s Peru at his Mathematics Tour

Yesterday happened to be the last day of the 4-day show of Ed Sheeran’s +–=÷x Tour in Manchester.

The +–=÷x Tour which is also referred to as the Mathematics Tour is the fourth world concert tour by English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. The tour which officially began on 21 March 2022, in LondonEngland consists of 74 shows.

Although the tour is in support of his fifth studio album, =, which he released in 2021, he performed some other songs as well. The beloved singer performed his verse on ‘Peru’, a song by Nigerian musician Fireboy DML, to an enthusiastic crowd at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, England.

The song which was released in December last year has gone on to do amazing numbers. It became the fastest Afrobeats song to be certified silver in the UK after selling over 200,000 units in less than 5 weeks of its release. It is also now certified Gold in the UK and US and Platinum in the UK.
