Apple Music’s Up Next Program features Amy Lilley

South African pop star and queer activist Amy Lilley has just been enlisted in Apple Music’s Up Next program.

This comes just before the release of her debut album called Petrichor, which comprises 9 tracks.

Amy Lilley posted this on her Instagram, sharing the news with her fans:

“To be selected as Apple’s Up Next Artist in SA is a huge dream come true!!!! thanks you @applemusicafrica and @weareplatoon !”

In an interview with Apple Music, Amy Lilley said, “I feel so honoured to be an Apple Music Up Next South Africa artist. It feels like a dream. To be amongst such amazing artists, and to be picked by the team at Apple, makes me feel that much more driven to keep making the music that I love. I feel so proud of how far I have come and can’t wait for what’s next.”

The songwriter who is known for her creative music and hails from the Northern parts of Cape Town started releasing music in 2020 with the song, Formidable‘.
