Afropunk Festival is back with Burna Boy and Adekunle Gold in the Lineup

Nigerian musicians Burna Boy and Adekunle Gold are in the lineup of this year’s edition of the Afropunk Festival.

Afropunk Festival is returning to the live music sector for the first time since 2019 and Nigerian superstars Adekunle Gold and Burna Boy have been confirmed as performers of this year’s festival scheduled to kick off on the 10th of September 2022 in Brooklyn, New York’s Commodore Barry Park.

The festival which took place virtually in 2020 and 2021 is back to live performances. An official announcement was made on the official social media page for Afropunk Festival indicating the performers in the lineup and these include Burna Boy, Adekunle Gold, Spinall, The Roots, Isaiah Rashad, Lucky Daye, Freddie Gibs, Tierra Whack and many others.

The festival’s presale begins on Thursday, June 16th at 10 a.m. ET with the general sale beginning on Friday, June 17th at 10 a.m. ET. All tickets will be accessible for purchase via the official Afropunk website.
