Can I Brinks Returns with ‘The Change’ Featuring Nafe Smallz

Can I Brinks

Released under Blood Brothers Record Label, ‘The Change’ by Can I Brinks featuring Nafe Smallz is more than just music it is a raw and deeply moving reality track that speaks to life’s struggles and hardships.

The single also forms part of ‘The Change’ movie soundtrack, tying sound and story together in a powerful way.

Hailing from North West London (NW10), Can I Brinks is an artist who has always poured his lived experiences into his craft.

A Reggae/Dancehall talent with a storyteller’s soul, he stepped back from music at one point, but life brought him back.

The heartbreaking loss of his son became both a turning point and a source of strength, inspiring him to return to the studio.

Through music, Can I Brinks channels his pain, resilience, and reflections into a body of work that feels authentic, unfiltered, and necessary.

‘The Change’ embodies this journey. Produced by Sean Murdz and JaxPenney, and mixed and mastered by Sean Murdz, the track blends Brinks’ reggae-rooted delivery with the sharp rap presence of Nafe Smallz.

Both artists bring their unique energy and identity, creating a collaboration that feels seamless yet charged with emotion.

Speaking on the process, Can I Brinks shared that working with Nafe Smallz was both inspiring and natural, given their history of successful collaborations.

The result is a song that is equal parts banger and testimony.

Beyond the track, the story continues on screen.

Nafe Smallz takes on an acting role in ‘The Change’ movie, while Can I Brinks not only stars but also directs, co-producing alongside Joseph Parkes, with the screenplay penned by Brinks and Devon Morgan.

Together, the film and the soundtrack form a statement: a bold exploration of life’s trials and the strength to transform them into art.
