Burna Boy recently dropped a prelude to his upcoming album “I Told Them,” Big 7. The track was an instant hit, breaking the record for the most streamed solo African song on Spotify (first day). However, some users on the internet realized that the song had an uncanny resemblance to another song.

Burna Boy’s Big 7 instrumental allegedly takes a cue from the beat of another song. The song in question was pointed out to be “Willemstad” by Dutch rap duo Qlas & Blacka with Boechi. The similarities are seen in the beat and the piano symphony, which are very similar, with Burna Boy’s version being sped up a bit with different drum patterns.
