2. KellyMarie – ONCE+
Texas-based sweetheart KellyMarie shows off her enchanting vocals in a pop melody titled “ONCE+, which is the second single for the upcoming album IT IS MY ALBUM.
The single is inspired by the TV series “The Office”. The single has a relatable theme; being stuck at wanting more than friendship from a person but not knowing how to express it.

3. BIJOU- The Players Anthem (feat. Benny The Butcher)
G-house icon, DJ and producer Bijou throws in another sparkling production featuring American rapper Benny the Butcher. With the ingenuity of Bijou as a producer, the rapper breaks strong genre barriers, switches from the scene he is mostly used to and tries Electronic Dance music for the first time. The single has an energetic vibe and it is an attention-commanding piece from Do Not Duplicate Recordings.
4. Zack Gray- Never Get Like You
Good music grabs a lot of attention and that is the exact situation with Zack Gray’s music. With his music traveling far and immense streaming numbers, Zack Gray has become a stronghold in the music realm. “Never Get Like You” is a soul-fetching and dreamy song with revitalizing and unique vocals from Zack Gray himself. 5. Oumou Sangaré – Sira
African empress Oumou Sangarè crafts a revivifying cultural melody titled “Sira” which takes the listener on a nourishing trip to her world. 6. L.A.X – Sempe (Acoustic)
Popular Nigerian artiste based in London, L.A.X releases the acoustic version of his single “Sempe”. The single is in honor of a beautiful woman who has captured his heart with her unique qualities. The single is characterized by smooth guitar instrumentation and is part of his album Zaza Vibes; a tracklist of infectious worldwide tunes.
7. SUPER-HI x NEEKA – Following The Sun
Musical band Super-Hi and Belgian musician Neeka collaborate to produce a tune filled with positivity and vibrance. “Following The Sun” is an instant success and hit; with over 130 million streams and hitting the certified gold mark. If you need an aura of sunshine to perk up your day, this tune is the ideal go-to.
8. Harper Starling x Cindy Valentine – Affair With Myself
“Affair With Myself” is a dance-pop tune that preaches self-adoration and self positivity. The single is a beautiful and engaging piece by American talent Harper Sterling who features Cindy Valentine for this chant. The visuals for the single is enthralling and impressive; depicting exactly how risky turning to others for self-nourishment can be. The video for this tune is directed by Luke Camozzi.
9. MaGyverMIRE – Thursday: i don’t want any more problems
South African artist MaGyverMIRE starts off the year with a classic creation titled “I Don’t Want Any More Problems”. Following in the footsteps of Wizkid, Burna Boy, Omah Lay and Rema, the artiste focuses on Afrobeats and always delivers flawless and thirst-quenching singles. The single addresses a partner about relationship-related issues; while advocating for peace.
10. PELA – Heavy
Prolific Brighton duo PELA drops a dreamy Indie pop tune as part of their numbers for this year. Written by Hannah Coombes, Olly Shenton and Liz Lawrence, the duo also take us on a preview trip of their EP Little Ceremonies which is scheduled to drop in June 2022. The silken vocals stand out; with blended instrumentals that present a relatable tune to us.
11. Predz UK – Misunderstood
Since hitting the scene in 2015, rapper/singer/songwriter Predz UK has been dropping commendable pieces and hitting noteworthy collaborations. “Misunderstood” is his latest anthem. The vibrant vocals highlight the theme of the song; life growing up from the hood is not easy. However, things can get better for a persistent individual.
12. LACES – Thirsty (ft. Molly Miller)
LACES gives us a look into her upcoming album, Super Weirdo with the release of her single “Thirsty” which features musical artist and guitarist Molly Miller. The full debut of the album is scheduled for May 5th. LACES creates a gem with this pop tune; laced with smooth guitar works from Molly Miller.
13. SHUN x Alina Renae – The Bright Side
SHUN links up with Alina Renae to whip out a catchy electronic pop tune called “The Bright Side”. Heavily influenced by the likes of other artistes (Sia, Martin Garrix, Mabel, Rihanna, Ellie Goulding and Flux Pavilion) SHUN and Alina Renae modify the norm with a groundbreaking and successful tune that is already drawing up huge numbers in the charts. SHUN comprises Matt Whitehead (guitar/vocals), Scott Brandon (guitar/backing vocals), Jeff Baucom (bass) and Rob Elzey (drums). Alina Renae is also a renowned vocalist who delivers aesthetic pieces all the time; as effortlessly demonstrated in the single. “The Bright Side” prefaces the notion of hope during times of adversity.
14. Afrodelic – Un Chant Pour Toi
Guitarist and producer Victor Diawara presents “Un Chant Pour Toi” as one of his latest productions. It is the 4th single from his upcoming album Dusunkun Hakili. The single takes its strong roots from Mali; as Victor took interest after a visit to the African country. With Bambara and French lyrics, the beats and instrumentation are a modern rendition of cultural music from Mali.
15. R3HAB- My Pony
A prominent figure in the music scene, Moroccan Dutch DJ and Producer R3hab (Fadil El Ghoul) returns with a striking dance and pop song he titles “My Pony”. The DJ and Producer has worked with many famous artistes and his ingenuity is unmatched. The engaging groovy tune re-enforces the notion that R3HAB is effortlessly speeding up at a menacing pace this year.
16. Sailor & I – Losing Track of Love
“Losing track of time” is a single by Swedish singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Sailor & I (Alexander Sjödin). The Swedish artiste explores Dance and Electronic music. His works are usually followed by huge streaming numbers across all platforms. “Losing Track of Love” is a single that comes after his successful 2021 album Diving for Lost Treasure. Released by ABYOND records, the single is about failed expectations with love and the person you cherish most turning against you.
17. Sandra Hakky – Work it
With influences from artistes like Ariana Grande, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey and Dua Lipa comes a unique pop tune from Sandra Hakky titled “Work It”. Filled with Hakky’s captivating vocals, the single is released from Hakky Music records and is the 3rd single from her album Hakky The System. The genius blend of genres for this single highlights her brilliance as an artiste. The intriguing visuals for the video also amplify Hakky’s creative side.
18. BB Thomaz – Nobody Like Me
Passionate singer BB Thomaz collaborates with singer and songwriter Ray Bryan and German producer Re:mind to generate a classic tune titled “Nobody Like Me”. The single is part of her 2022 album Golden State Of Mind which is an 11-track album of afro soul songs. The engaging single comprises reminding a partner they will never find someone like them.
19. Eliane Correa & La Evolución- Signo de Fuego
Renowned Latina pianist & composer Eliane Correa joins forces with Costa Rican band La Evolución to generate an uplifting and vibrant salsa funk single titled “Signo de Fuego” which means Fire Sign. Mixed by Josè Mendoza, the tune is a classic rendition of Latino music filled with funk and spice for your day.
20. Atueyii – Notice
Nigerian London-based artiste Atueyii commences the year with a silky Afrobeats production titled “Notice”. Atueyii is on a mission to reinforce the feeling that comes with listening to Afro music, and he effortlessly accomplishes that from time to time. The single is smooth, engaging and calming. “Notice” recounts a situation of a lover getting so entangled in love. The singer/songwriter and producer draws you in with vocals and mesmerizing rhythms; making it a memorable feat.
21. Eliane Correa & La Evolución x La Reyna y La Real- Real Flores de Cristal
Eliane Cora and La Evolución team up with Cuban duo Reyna and La Real to generate a jazz and hip hop merged single which they titled “Real Flores de Cristal”, which means flowers made of glass. Drums, trumpets and timbales blend so well with the vocals. The single is in honor of women and has a commendable theme. Society sees women as delicate flowers but women are actually flowers made of glass and are very strong. If you’re in search of classic jazz with a superior theme then “Real Flores de Cristal” is a perfect choice.
22. Kill Them With Colour- Buggin
Kill Them With Colour is a French-born DJ and Producer. With his spiral works going unnoticed, he is also a Juno award nominated artist. Released by Feels Like Records, the single is a vibrant and mood-changing one. It features the beautiful vocals of artiste Melanie and has a dance vibe that will get you moving.
23. Nando Griffiths – Temperature
Talented Jamaican singer is out with an indulging pop tune titled “Temperature”. The single is part of a 2022 album Sand Ba Riddim which features a lot of different artistes. The single is love-themed and talks about how much a lover constantly influences a mood; a thing many can relate to. “Temperature” is a smooth and upbeat tune suitable for your urban playlists.
24. David Green – Something
American artiste David Green releases a second single for 2022 called “Something”. From the camp of Bam Bam Records, the single is an electronic pop song that highlights the uniqueness of a lover. 25. Alligatorz – Bang Bang
Dance and Electronic duo Alligatorz expands their discography with a new single titled “Bang Bang”. The single features the vocals of artistes Mc Baby Perigosa and Mr.J.Medeiros. The single is part of the debut Bang Bang EP, a tropical-themed project. The single is fiery, spiraling, and elevating which undoubtedly highlights the new and unique range of music the duo delivers.
26. La Caravana Magica x Jessi Vera Lett x Mito Rompe – Why Why Why
New Chilean beach band commences the year with a vibrant tune with inspiration from the town of surfing, Pichilemu. Reggae, Dancehall and Trap are their main genres of musical exploration. The brilliance of an artist is their ability to incorporate external atmospheres and influences into music that uniquely captivates every listener. Despite its Latino lyrics, “Why Why Why” is a great tune for all regardless of their linguistic backgrounds.
