1. Magixx – Shaye

Mavin Records signee, Magixx has released a new single titled ‘Shaye’. The singer came into the limelight with his debut self-titled EP ‘Magixx’ and followed it up with a remix for ‘Love Don’t Cost a Dime‘ where he featured label mate Ayra Starr. He also recently contributed to the all-star joint, ‘Overdose’. The song ‘Shaye‘ follows the release of his previous single, ‘Chocolate‘. The song happens to be the lead single for his EP ‘Atom‘.

2. BNXN ft Wande Coal – Kenkele

Afro-fusion singer, BNXN is out with a new single titled ‘Kenkele’ and he features fellow Nigerian legendary singer, Wande Coal. ‘Kenkele’ happens to be the singer’s second single for this year and serves as one of the tracks on his forthcoming EP, ‘Bad Since ’97’. The song was co-produced by Sakpase & Stone and comes along with an official video directed by Director K.

3. M.I Abaga – The Guy

Legendary Nigerian rapper, M.I Abaga has released a new single titled ‘The Guy’. This is the rapper’s second solo contribution of the year and it follows his previously released song ‘Daddy’ which features Chillz. A few weeks ago, the multiple award-winning rap artiste made the announcement to retire his stage name M.I Abaga. This was announcement was to create awareness of his impending album, also titled ’The Guy’. The album, which will feature American rapper Nas, is scheduled for release on August 19, 2022.

4. P-Square – Jaiye (Ihe Geme)

Nigerian music duo P-Square are back with two new singles after ending their long feud. The two new singles titled ‘Jaiye‘ and ‘Find Somebody’ were written and produced by the duo themselves and ‘Jaiye’ comes with a music video directed by Nigerian music video director and cinematographer, TG Omori. ‘Jaiye’ is a dance-pop track infused with the Amapiano sound. ‘Find Somebody’ is a wedding-themed track where the duo expresses their delight and excitement in finally finding the one they wish to spend the rest of their lives with.

5. Yemi Alade – Begging

Talented Nigerian singer and songwriter Yemi Alade has dropped a new single titled ‘Begging’. The song is her second single for the year following the release of her previous single titled My Man which features Jamaican dancehall artiste Kranium. The singer dedicates the song to anyone nursing a heartbreak or anyone who makes the decision to be a priority in a relationship.

6. Iryne Rock – The One

Nigerian-American singer, songwriter and worship leader, Iryne Rock is out with a brand new single titled ‘The One’. The song follows the successful release of her EP, ‘Never Known’ and her single ‘Story’ this year. ‘The One’ is a song that talks about the love that surrounds and serves as a source of strength in difficult times. This song is an amazing and inspiring one and it’s a must-listen.

7. Logos Olori – Lale

Talented singer and songwriter, Logos Olori is out with a brand new banger titled ’Lale’. In the song, the singer praises the woman he loves. The Amapiano record was produced by Magicsticks. This is definitely one song that should be added to your weekend playlist.

8. Cheque – Holy Gee

Nigerian musician, Cheque has released a new single titled, ‘Holy Gee’. The song is the musician’s first contribution for the year and a follow-up to his 13-track debut album ‘Bravo‘ which featured Olamide, Fireboy DML, Ayra Starr and Jackboy. The record was produced by Nigerian music producer, Ozedikus.

9. M.A.K ft Ajebutter22 – One Shokoto

Nigerian musician M.A.K is out with a new single titled ‘One Shokoto’ and he featured fellow Nigerian musician and rapper, Ajebutter22. In the song, the musician sings about the adoration he has for a lady. The song comes along with an official music video and it’s definitely a must-listen.

10. Jumabee ft Ladé- Ja Rule & Ashanti

Nigerian musician, Jumabee has teamed up with the ‘Adulthood’ hitmaker, Ladé for his new single titled ‘Ja Rule & Ashanti’. The song is a follow-up to his debut EP ‘Ginam’ which translates as God is not a man. The promising musician is having a steady rise in his music career and this is one song that should be on your playlist.

11. May D – Life

Nigerian singer, May D is out with a new song titled “Life”. It is a follow-up to his EP “Sureboy” which had a positive reception among fans and music lovers. ‘Life’ was produced by Nigerian music producer Teekaywitty and serves as the musician’s debut single of the year. The song talks about the challenges individuals experience in the journey of life and the lessons we learn from them.

12. Jinmi Abduls – Royal Rumble

Talented Nigerian singer Jinmi Abduls is back with a new song and he calls this one ‘Royal Rumble’. The song is a follow-up to his recently released single, ‘Dapada’. Jinmi Abduls marked his debut as an artiste with his ‘Jolag’ Ep and has since gone on to become a favorite in the Nigerian music scene.

13. Waje – Feeling Good

Nigerian female singer, Waje has released a brand new single titled, “Feeling Good” and she features Nigerian record producer, Masterkraft. ‘Feeling Good’ is off her most recent album, ‘Waje 2.0’ and follows her most recent single with Tiwa Savage, ‘All Day’. The album consists of 11 tracks and it includes guest appearances form Masterkraft, Falz, EmmyBlaq, Imi Lawz, and Tiwa Savage.
